Job Responsibility
- Prepare a full set of accounts (GL, Inventory, Bank Recon). Prepare month-end closing and daily accounting functions.
- Resolve all accounting-related operational issues and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies, and SOP.
- Maintain accurate accounting entry into accounting systems, filling, and other clerical duties as assigned.
- To assist in all spectrum of accounting functions, budget, and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Liaise with Financial Institutions, internal and external auditors, tax agents, and other statutory bodies on accounting and financial related matters
Job Requirements
- Qualification Required: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting Certificates
- Industrial Background Preferred: Min 2 years of working experience in Accounting and Finance with trading activities
- Good accounting and tax knowledge.
- Experience in the trading business is an added advantage.
- Group-level work experience and preference with regional exposure.
- Willingness to be a station at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah office.
- Good communication and ability to work in a team.
